We have a fantastic opportunity for you to join our well-established team in Pontypool as a Recruitment Officer on a full-time, permanent basis. You will be working alongside the HR Manager and small team of Administration staff.

Who are we?

My Care My Home provide care and support to elderly and vulnerable adults across England and Wales. What will you do?

• Design and place adverts for current vacancies.

• Proactive approach to talent attraction (thinking outside the box to increase applications).

• Short listing candidates, arranging and holding interviews in conjunction with Branch Management.

• Completing all pre-employment checks, such as verification of identification, reference checks, DBS applications etc.

• Recruitment analysis, attending regular meetings and producing/presenting reports and (KPI’s).

• Driving recruitment efficiency, reduce job vacancy levels, increase candidate quality, and improving recruitment processes.

• Complying with all relevant employment or other law relevant to recruitment, including data protection compliance and improvement throughout all recruitment processes.

 

What are we looking for?

• Experience within a recruitment environment (minimum of two years’), either agency or in house; additionally experience within the Health & Social Care sector would be desirable.

• Experience in managing recruitment budgets.

• Experience recruiting at high volume.

• Experience of owning the end-to-end recruitment process and its life cycle.

• Desired experience of implementing and developing an ATS.

• Extremely proactive and capable of managing a full workload, in a fast-paced, highly pressured environment, often working to tight deadlines.

• Strong and influential individual who is not afraid to challenge the working practices and culture within the organisation.

• A full driver’s licence with access to your own vehicle is a requirement for this role, due to regular travel across the nation to attend our branches holding recruitment events; this may include weekend/overnight stays.

 

What we offer

• Salary – £23,000.00 to £25,000.00 per annum (dependent on salary).

• Hours – 37.50 per week (flexibility required with weekend working on occasion).
