Your Three Care Options
Once you have worked out how many one-to-one care hours you need each week (if you haven’t done that yet, we can help!), it is time to consider how you want to receive those hours. For many people, their first thought about care is ‘care homes’, but that is not your only option.
If, like most people who need care, your care assessment indicates that you need less than 25 hours of one-to-one care each week then you have a range of ways you can receive this:
- Domiciliary care in your own home
- Extra care apartments or supported living setting (with domiciliary care as necessary)
- Care in a care home
